TC Contracting is an independent local business established in 2022 by Tom Chauvin.

Raised in Victoria since he was a teenager, Tom graduated from Camosun College in 2008 with a Red Seal as an automotive mechanic. After 15 years in the industry, he needed a change of pace and branched out on his own.

That mechanical background isn't just a footnote — it's a core advantage. Tom maintains all his own equipment, which means less downtime, more reliable machinery on your job site, and cost savings he passes on to his customers.

TC Contracting was built around a simple observation: most excavation companies run full-size equipment that can't fit through a standard backyard gate. Tom built a fleet of compact machines — all 36 inches wide or less — specifically designed for the residential access challenges that Victoria homeowners face every day.
